Principle:The CHY-02D analyzer allows hydrogen to diffuse from the aluminum liquid through a porous probe into the aluminum liquid and 

diffuse into a closed volume. The amount of hydrogen in the closed volume is measured, and the hydrogen content in the aluminum liquid is 

obtained by applying Sievert's law. The closed volume refers to the "closed loop" or "recirculation loop" of the analyzer. It contains only 

hydrogen and nitrogen. Hydrogen diffuses out of the aluminum liquid into the closed loop, and the opposite process also occurs: hydrogen in 

the gas loop diffuses back into the aluminum liquid. The hydrogen content in the loop reaches a balance with the evaporation and dissolution of 

hydrogen in the aluminum liquid.

Probe: Collect hydrogen in molten aluminum

The probe of CHY-02D serves as the interface between the closed loop and the aluminum liquid exchange gas. The gas in the closed loop circulates 

through the permeable ceramic part of the probe. The probe is immersed in the aluminum liquid to collect the hydrogen diffused from the metal , 

it is connected to the analyzer through a small diameter stainless steel tube. Because the hydrogen transfers relatively slowly at the interface between 

the probe and the aluminum liquid, only when the gas in the entire loop circulates through the probe many times can it reach equilibrium with the

 hydrogen content in the aluminum liquid. The power for gas circulation comes from the pump inside the analyzer.
